Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Mordecai Colodner

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I attended Parsons School of Design, Graphic Design Department, where I studied painting and drawing under Stephen Greene and Fred Koenigsberg and graduated in 1957. After a career as a Graphic Designer, I moved to Tucson in March 2005. It is the culmination of a long held dream…to live surrounded by the beauty of the Catalina Mountains, near some of my children and grandchildren, with the time and space to express some of my ideas for painting and sculpture. Before leaving NY, I started a series of Jewish Art I call “Visual Midrash” wherein I take a phrase or scene from Torah and express it as a visual commentary.
