Ernie Kovaks - Duh!

This is wonderful Mordy. I too did a series commemorating TWTC . I miss you kid and think of our times at American Can Co. This morning as I squeezed a tube of Polygrip I remembered your wall hanging device for rolling out the last bit of product from tubes. Remember our late night winter pool dips with Hank Bucanon and his 53 Cadilac formerly owned by that famous Hungarian comedian & television pioneer (my 82 year old brain just forgot his name - mid sentence, the lunches with your tin of tuna, visiting you upstate at the TV antennae capital, going to the beach and were you along when we all went to see Ann Corio in "This was Burlesk? I'm on Fine Art America too. specially like this gallery of Judaica. I'm down in West Palm Beach on my own after many years in Boca Raton, My e-mail is: - would love to hear from you old buddy. A ladder set on Earth and the top of it reached to Heaven" came to my mind. In the columns of light that were used to symbolize the fallen towers I have embedded shards of colored glass to represent the shattered lives that Olu (went up) that day.

After a career as a Graphic Designer, I moved to Tucson in March 2005. It is the culmination of a long held dream…to live surrounded by the beauty of the Catalina Mountains, near some of my children and grandchildren, with the time and space to express some of my ideas for painting and sculpture. Before leaving NY, I started a series of Jewish Art I call “Visual Midrash” wherein I take a phrase or scene from Torah and express it as a visual commentary. I have continued to create “Visual Midrash” in Tucson and have also done...
