Upper Lewis Falls is in the Gifford Pinchot Forest, Washington. This photograph was taken mid-day with a polarizer and ND filter for a long exposure to capture a smooth waterfall and movement of the water. I camped the night before to be able to scout out the waterfalls. There are 3 of them with hard to remember names of Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls. The forest is as beautiful as the waterfalls!

I had forgotten about the movement of the water with an ND filter until I looked at the viewfinder and saw the swirls in the water. It made my heart sing to capture the movement! Simple pleasures . . . . . :)
